Occasions

Different rooms, different running orders

The tables are the same. What changes is when they open, how long they stay open, and what happens to the leaderboard at the end.

End-of-year functions

The classic. Tables open after the speeches and run for three hours, with a leaderboard closing before the band starts. Equal fun-money stacks for everyone keeps the hierarchy out of it.

40–400 guests · 3–5 tables · Nov–Feb peak

Charity fundraisers

Buy-in goes to the cause, play is on fun money, and the top of the leaderboard becomes the story for the auction. We brief your volunteers so the room never waits on a croupier.

80–500 guests · Auction pairing · Committee briefing

Weddings

Two tables in a side room from dessert onwards. It quietly solves the gap between the meal and the dancing, and gives the non-dancers somewhere to be.

2–3 tables · Late finish · Silent setup

Milestone birthdays

Fortieths, fiftieths, sixtieths. Usually one roulette and one blackjack table, plus a money wheel for guests who prefer to stand and watch.

30–120 guests · Home or venue · 4-hour block

Conference & expo stands

One table, branded layout, half-day or full-day. People stay for minutes rather than seconds, which is the whole point of a stand.

1–2 tables · Branded layouts · Half-day rates

Client hospitality

Small, quiet, dressed up. A baccarat table and a blackjack table for twenty guests, croupiers briefed to keep conversation moving rather than the game.

15–50 guests · Evening · Discreet crew

What your venue needs to have

Nothing unusual — but these five things decide the table mix.

  1. A

    Floor space

About three by three metres per table, including standing room. A pillar in the middle is fine; we plan around it.

  2. B

    Level access

Tables come in on trolleys. Stairs are possible but add crew and time, so tell us early.

  3. C

    Two power points

For table lighting only. If the room is dark we bring our own uplights.

  4. D

    A two-hour setup window

Before guests arrive. We can compress it to ninety minutes with an extra crew member.

  5. E

    A pack-down slot

One hour after the tables close. Late-night venue curfews are common; we plan the finish around yours.
